Apeks XTX50 Second Stage Regulator
Taking many features from the high end XTX200 and XTX100 regulators the XTX50 represents excellent value for a second stage that is full of features. The XTX50 second stage is pneumatically balanced, this gives a smoother more precise delivery of gas for a very satisfying breath.
With strategically position metal components the XTX50 regulator can be used happily in the coldest water with little chance of freezing and causing a free flow. Both the venturi system and the cracking resistance of the second stage can be controlled by the diver at any time in the dive allowing the XTX50 to be dialled into the exact dive conditions.
From the factory the hose is routed into the right hand side of the second stage but this can be swapped to the left hand side by an Apeks technician.
Exhaust tees can be swapped by the diver, allowing a diver to choose between better dispersion of exhaled bubbles or the XTX50 regulator can be made more compact.
